Over the reading week and last week I took the time to do a lot of reflection on the project. I successfully filled out the information need for my ethics form that has to be submitted early in order to get approval before the trip to Uganda in February.
Today we are going to be having a presentation to CanUgan of our progress so far. This will be a great opportunity to meet some of the people who are part of CanUgan. I am hoping that some people of CanUgan will have insight on what is viable about my machine so far. Also to see if they feel there is a strong need for the machine.
Over the next few weeks I will be creating prototypes for the machine. My goal is to have the final prototype for the machine done the first week back from Christmas break. The reason why I feel this has to be done by this time is to give me the following week after to create technical drawings on how to build the machine. Kio who is the manufacturer we are using in Uganda to build the machines will need some lead time before we arrive to build the machine.
