Friday 22nd, I had a brief meeting with Dean Mellway!
From this meeting I was able to show him what I had worked on in the last few weeks. Through this discussion, Dean pointed out the main issues was to be concerned with accessibility, ease of assembly, and the perception of privacy. My previous concepts were concerned with the assembly of the over encompassing structure and Dean had redirected my focus to think about the assembly of the individual parts that would make up the stalls etc…
Over the last few days I’ve been conceptualizing ideas on techniques that would make assembly easier.
(doesn’t require lots of tooling)
Over the weekend, I was able to do some quick and dirty testing with Ally, to test out the proposed floor space. From this testing, we determined unnecessary space that I had drawn out, that would not be used.
