Q2: What do you usually look for in terms of what products to stock?
O: Quality ( they'd have to buy one to see if they'd buy more/ again); price
L: Look at the same manufacturer so that their different units can share parts. (as the products are modular); Look for their features (such as plug-ins, heating, porcelain toilets)
Q3: What is the average price for each unit, to buy?
O: after shipping from the states ~$1000
Q4: How often do you buy new units?
O: Depends on the busyness of business, on average once in 3 - 5 years
L: constantly buying parts that needs to be replaced as the unit is modular
Q5: What are the reasons you would need to purchase new units?
O: Old and damaged ; supply and demand; if there's more demand in the season
L: Customer damage, wear and tear, graffitti, burn marks
Q6: How long do a unit last on average?
O: Some last for 10 years
L: 4 - 5 years as long as you change the parts
Q7: Do you handle delviery to location? Cleaning of units?
O: Yes, Yes

Q8: What is the normal procedure invovled when it comes to cleaning?
O: Pump unit, wipe down floors and walls, restock
L: Pump waste, refill water, restock, In the summer the units would be pressure washed, in the winter only if the weather permits. Otherwise the units are brushed down.
Q9: What do you use to keep the units from smelling?
O: Chemical inside the tank: Non formaldehyde concentration liquid; and lemon cleaner for the inside keeps it smelling good. Units are cleaned once a week.
L: A bit of chemical, and mostly water to keep waste submerged
Q10: Where do you dispose of the waste?
O: Waste is disposed in holding tank on site, and they contract out for someone to pump out the units
L: To the depot - with the city. Waste goes back into our current waste system.
Q11: What occassions do people usually rent portable washrooms?
O: Mostly the construction business
L: Anytime there is a gathering with people without facilities
Q12: What do people look for when they rent?
O: Ministry of labour certified, clean, (reputation through word of mouth)
L: 1. Basic place for their customers to do their business, 2. Least Cost
Q13: How often do festivals/ events rent portable washrooms? What do they look for?
O: Festivals are seasonal, so it makes for a small margin of business. They mostly look at price, and work within their budget. Budget depends on the number of people attending the festivals.
